It has been announced that Fire Brigades Union members will be taking part in three days of strike action scheduled to take place during May Bank Holiday weekend as part of the national protest against changes to fire fighter pensions. The dates and times are: Friday 2 May 2014 – 12pm

How do I get an allotment?
The Parish Council provides 10 allotment plots on land at Vicarage Gate for residents of the Parish and operates a waiting list. Currently, the larger plots are £35 per annum and the smaller plots are £25 per annum.
