SERRCA Project – Green bank repairs

September 06th 2024

Monday 9th – Friday 13th September 2024

Parts of the riverbank footpath between St Erth Bridge & Trewinnard Bridge

The Westcountry Rivers Trust (WRT) will be undertaking green bank reinforcement work on behalf of SEPC as part of the above project

Whilst the footpath won’t be closed, please be aware there may be some disruption to walkers this week whilst the work takes place, as WRT’s priority is to ensure safety whilst undertaking the works.

We are looking for Volunteer River Wardens to ensure the long term sustainability of this project.  WRT are delivering a training day on Thursday 12th September (09:30—14:00 approx.). If you are interested in finding out more please contact clerk@sterth-pc.gov.uk or call 01736 757575 as soon as possible

This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.  Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and Is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
