Grant funding available

February 13th 2024

At its recent meeting on 5th February 2024, the Council updated its Grant Policy – see below.  As part of its annual budget the Parish Council sets aside a small amount for grants, as it recognises the importance of supporting groups, organisations and charities that benefit the local community.

The total figure available for grants in the 2023/24 budget is £600, and to date no applications have been received for this financial year.

The Council is inviting anyone that would like to be considered for a grant to be submitted no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday 28th February, either using our online form or via a paper copy, for consideration by the Council at its next meeting on 5th March.

As with any grant applications, these will only be considered from local non-political, non-profit making groups, organisations or charities and there are certain criteria that need to be met.  For more details take a look at the updated Grant Policy and application form or contact the Clerk on clerk@sterth-pc.gov.uk or ring 07563 164661.
