Official Launch Event

October 05th 2023
What a fantastic event last Saturday to officially launch our mini ramp in Battery Mill play park. There are lots of people we would like to thank (and sorry in advance if we have forgotten anyone!):
Maverick Skateparks for building the mini ramp and all your assistance throughout the process;
Cornwall Council for funding the project through the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund;
St John’s Ambulance – Wendy, Tracey and Ollie the three lovely volunteers who attended the event for us (although we pay for the cover, they are volunteers and any money paid goes towards the Charity);
Geoff the MC from Rubicon, who ran the day so well, Bradley for the BMX stunts and Diz for some brilliant photos including the ribbon cutting above;
AJ’s Mobile Catering for providing the catering van for the event;
Kev Milo for bringing the idea to St Erth Parish Council in the first place and for cutting the ribbon to officially open the ramp;
But most of all we want to thank both our local community, who have supported this project right from the start, and everyone that attended the event, both young and old – we hope you had an amazing afternoon and will continue to enjoy the ramp for many years to come.
