Maintenance work at Battery Mill play park

August 31st 2023

Please note that the play park will be closed on Tuesday 5th & Wednesday 6th September for maintenance work. Whilst this is being carried out we will also be removing the graffiti that has sprung up over the summer. Due to the amount on the multi play activity equipment this will need repainting. This recent spate of graffiti, which also includes a number of road signs in the parish, has been reported to the police. If anyone knows anything please do let us or the police know. The cost to remove it isn’t cheap and sadly has to come from public money (i.e. your precept) which could be better spent on other things.
