Update on Village Roadworks

February 28th 2023

We have been advised by Cormac that, due to unforeseen circumstances, whilst working on the four way junction by Chapel car park last night, the material failed when it was laid and bitumen started to bleed up through the surface.  As a result, the work will not be completed this week as they need to resurface the whole junction first and don’t currently have the materials they need available, but we will be advised when they have a date in place for this.

The road is open and safe to drive on and they have apologised for any inconvenience caused to residents.
