Road Closures

July 30th 2022

Following the delays earlier this year, work is now due to start next month to implement the Village Improvements scheme that was approved last year to introduce a village wide 20mph zone and traffic calming features, 30mph speed limit along Treloweth Lane & Chenhalls Road and other associated highways works.

As a result there will be a number of road closures over the next two months as follows:

Trenhayle Lane & School Lane: 15th – 26th August 2022 – 24 hours

Green Lane: 30th August – 9th September 2022 – 24 hours

Tredrea Lane & Treloweth Lane – 12th – 23rd September 2022 – 24 hours

We know that these closures are likely to adversely impact residents during this period, but a reduction in speed is something that we have been working towards for years on behalf of everyone and look forward to the work being completed soon.  We would be grateful if you could please make any of your friends or neighbours, who may not have seen the notices or may not be online, aware of these closures.
