Fire damage to the Youth Shelter

June 20th 2022
As most people will be aware, we recently saw more damage to the Youth Shelter in Green Lane park.  Whether this was a deliberate arson attempt, or night lights that were left burning, we cannot be sure, but either way it is of concern that the Shelter is being treated so badly.  The incident has been reported to the police, and our local Beat Manager and PCSO will be keeping a close eye on the area for any further problems.  If you do have any information relating to this or other recent vandalism in the village please do report it either through 101 or the online form https://www.devon-cornwall.police.uk/contact/contact-forms/101-non-emergency/.

The Parish Council will be considering what steps to take at its meeting next month but would be interested in feedback from residents as this structure is there for you all to use.
