Cornwall Council will be replacing the bus shelter on Chenhalls Road which they are responsible for the upkeep of. The old shelter is very dilapidated and the Parish Council has been pushing for this for a while. The Parish Council had requested that the shelter be turned round but has been told this is not possible without widening the footway. The new shelter, which will include a small bench seat, is due to be installed on Thursday 16th September with associated work to start from Monday 13th.
Community Orchard – Volunteers Needed!
St Erth Parish Council is exploring the possibility of creating a Community Orchard on the grassed area at the top end of Vicarage Gate, to be cared for and managed entirely by volunteers from the Parish. The final planting scheme would be decided by the volunteers...
