Vacancies

There is currently one vacancy for a Parish Councillor, which the Council is looking to fill by co-option.

We are looking for someone who cares about the community and wants to make a difference, can attend meetings and work collaboratively and meets the standard eligibility criteria for parish councillors. Applications should be submitted no later than 5pm on Wednesday 27th May 2026.

As agreed in its Co-option Policy, if there are three or less applicants then the co-option will be considered at the next Parish Council meeting due to take place on 2nd June 2026 at 7pm at St Erth Community Primary School. Should there be four or more applicants then the Council will hold a special meeting - date to be confirmed. The Clerk will confirm which date the co-option will take place immediately following the closing date for applications.

As part of the application process, prospective candidates are required to complete a form providing information relevant to the co-option process.
