Outcome of Consultation for Chenhalls Road

May 02nd 2022

The results of the Chenhalls Road Highway Improvements amended consultation in December 2021 have been published.  There was a disappointing number of responses to the proposals (only 4).  As a result of the feedback and some concerns, the footway proposed has been reduced by 200mm, increasing the width of the narrowing section to 4 metres (previously shown highlighted in yellow as 3.8m in the original proposal in the plan).

This scheme will now be incorporated into the main village highway improvements which are scheduled to begin construction in the summer.
