Meals delivery project

January 25th 2021

The Cornwall Rural Community Charity has received funding to run a free hot meals delivery project in West Cornwall.

Last year they ran such a project from Newlyn and supplied 1700 hot meals for free to those people struggling in the first lockdown. The new project will concentrate more on people living in rural areas.

They hope to start the project in February.  There will be no need for formal referrals and no actual criteria for receiving the food.  They just want to help those people who need help.

If there are any families or individuals who might like to receive a free hot meal delivery one night a week please contact Liz Wilkin the Rural Community Advisor on Liz.Wilkin@cornwallrcc.org.uk.  or call her on 01736 731395.  Personal details will be handled with utmost confidentiality.
