Citizens Advice Newstter

October 05th 2020

Please see the attached Autumn Newsletter from Citizens Advice Cornwall, which contains useful updates on the service post-lockdown.

We are seeing rapidly increasing demand, particularly for help with redundancies, debt, benefits, paying rents and, sadly, relationship breakdowns in all areas of the county.

To cope with this demand, and to make sure we are reaching all members of society who need help, we’re stepping-up our communications with parish and town councils and hoping to build stronger relationships to make people aware of our service. This includes recruiting more volunteer advisers and installing computers in more remote areas so people can still access help with face-to-face appointments over the internet without travelling into our offices.
