The project is now at the half-way point and the following works have been completed:
• all of the demolition;
• new windows;
• blocking up of the rear door to the former Gents toilet and replastering;
• new door for the Ladies and Disabled toilet;
• 1st fix plumbing and electrical works;
• preparing all internal walls and ceilings to receive final finishes; and
• ramp for disabled users.
The next few days will see:
• handrails;
• flooring;
• final wall and ceiling finishes;
• internal and external lighting;
• sanitary ware and hand wash/dry unit; and
• 2nd fix plumbing and electrical works.
Finishing works at the end of the project, in approximately two weeks’ time, will include:
• external decoration;
• installing bike racks;
• new timber fencing along the boundaries; and
• signage.
