Cornwall Council has informed us that it is making more use of its website to help residents report the most common problems they encounter.
By using the “report it online” system, residents are effectively creating an order for the job to be undertaken by the contractor responsible and which also requires a timescale for response.
In other words, when a problem is reported in this way, it’s in the system and can’t be lost or forgotten – and a reply is sent to the person who reports it.

To report dog fouling: click here
So far, this method appears to be getting faster results rather than making calls to the Cornwall Council switchboard, so give it a try!
Hello,
I just want you to know that the sewerage drain in the road near to no 58 Chennhals road has burst again, this happened after the torrential rain we had in the early hours of Monday 10th August. You can clearly see the bits of used loo roll and my daughter has said she has seen a used sanitary towel. The last time it happened was less than 2 months ago! Because their has been no attempt to clean it, its been in the road for 1 1/2 days and has had numerous cars driving through it and spreading it along the road.Nice for pedestrians and cyclists .
I have just sent a email to cornwall council via your website and i asked them to inform Mr Ricky Williams who works for the environmental health.
I will let you know when this happens again, as it happens all the time! The last time i was told it was because of a minor blockage on 4th June 2015.
Anyway sorry to go on.
Best Wishes from Kerry
